What does Hazmat do?

We are a full service transporter of waste materials throughout the United States and Canada. Also, we offer environmental training and consulting to help you satisfy RCRA, DOT, and OSHA requirements. Our Buffalo, NY facility operates an extensive tank trailer repair shop.

Can Hazmat transport waste in every state?

Yes! Permitted in the Continental U.S. (including Alaska) and the Provinces of Canada.

Where are your terminals?

Our terminals are located in Buffalo, NY; Cincinnati, OH; and Linden, NJ, with support facilities in the states of AR, KY, MN, NJ, PA, SC and VA.

What type of equipment does Hazmat have?

Hazmat has a full-service fleet to meet your waste transportation requirements, including vans, lift gate vans, tanks, vacs, roll-offs and dumps.

Can you schedule waste into my TSDF choice?

Yes. We will assist in scheduling waste into TSDF. Will not act as a broker, allowing you to receive direct disposal rates from TSDF.

Does Hazmat have a less-than-truckload program?

Yes. Our LTL transportation program schedules regional pickup services throughout the U.S., at declining per-drum rates based on volume.

Does Hazmat comply to the ACC's responsible care initiative?

Yes. Hazmat meets the intent and requirements of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care Initiative. An ACC motor carrier assessment is available at your request.

What is Hazmat's DOT safety rating?

Satisfactory (the highest)

Does Hazmat use owner-operators?

No. All drivers are company employees.

Can Hazmat help with manifesting?

Yes. Hazmat will assist with the preparation of hazardous waste manifests providing the shipper supplies the pertinent DOT shipping information.

Can Hazmat track and trace shipments?

Yes. All of our trucks have satellite tracking devices.

How about spill containment?

All Hazmat van trailers have steel containment floors with sealable end gates that prevent any release from escaping outside the trailer. Each unit also has a spill kit to manage the cleanup of any residue.

Can HazMat deliver my virgin chemical shipments?

Yes, HazMat uses dedicated equipment to deliver your virgin chemical shipments.
