2002 Safety Statistics Now Available (March 24, 2003)

HazMat Environmental Group once again scores outstanding safety statistics for the previous year. The U.S. Department of Transportation measures several key indicators based on nearly 500 roadside inspections over a cumulative 2-year period. HazMat experiences far fewer out-of –services than the national average of all trucking companies. Just 6% of our vehicles recorded a maintenance irregularity and only 1% were cited for a hazardous materials irregularity. Equally important is our record of no DOT Reportable incidents and only one Recordable Accident charged to our fleet of nearly 100 drivers.
